Clavicle mobilization and abdominal head of pec major release round out the shoulder approaches. In addition\, joint mobilizations and osseous techniques are shown for the clavicle\, scapula\, and upper extremity joints.\nTreatment of the elbow and wrist\, with focus on decompressing the radius & ulna from the humerus\, decompressing the Carpal Tunnel\, as well as mobilizing the carpals & phalanges\, can improve & prevent many of the above disorders. \nDay 2: Abdomen\, Ribcage\, and Pelvis\nThis course will remove any discomfort felt by therapists when\nworking on the Abdomen\, Ribcage & Pelvis\, by combining in depth assessment approaches with effective myofascial release techniques. Therapists will spend time doing direct techniques\, such as release of the abdominal/peritoneal fascia\, and iliac/inguinal fascia\, as well as indirect techniques\, such as release of groin/pubic fascias. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) will be employed\, along with passive stretching with traction (limb unwinding)\, to perform the indirect techniques. Once learned\, PNF and limb unwinding can be applied anywhere in the body. Patients will experience improved digestion from the abdominal work\, improved breathing from the ribcage/diaphragm work\, and better flexibility in the back and hips from the pelvic work. Decreased back\, shoulder\, and neck pain can be expected from all of the modalities used. \nClass Info\nTimes:\nDay 1: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm; Day 2:10:00 am – 6:00 pm\nCEU’s: 14\nPrice: $275.00 \nEnrollment Closed\nLocation: Ģý College – Roswell 1455 Old Alabama Road Suite 160 Roswell\, GA 30076\nClass capacity: 20\nContact: Please call us at (770) 381-7200 if you have any questions.\nRefunds: No refunds within 2 weeks of class.
